What makes team RCW different
tennis is the vehicle. developing remarkable young people is the purpose.
We care about your child as a person before we care about them as a player. Our goal is to help every young athlete feel known, challenged, supported, and connected while developing the skills and confidence to enjoy tennis for a lifetime.

2 days / week
LEARN & GROW
More repetition helps skills stick, builds confidence, and gives players more time with coaches and teammates — creating stronger friendships and momentum.

ACCELERATE
For players who love the game and want more opportunities to grow — including those pursuing Match Ready, Junior Team Tennis, High School Tennis, and possibly beyond.
GOAL DEPENDENT
WHY WE RECOMMEND TWO DAYS
Young players learn through repetition. More frequent play helps skills become more natural, builds confidence, and gives players more opportunities to use what they’re learning. Just as importantly, seeing coaches and teammates more often helps kids build friendships, feel connected, and become part of a team.
More tennis doesn’t have to mean more structured practice.
A player’s week might include Team Practice, a lesson, match play, or another tennis experience.
These are coaching recommendations — not barriers to participation.
GROWING THROUGH THE TEAM RCW JOURNEY
Each player develops at a different pace. Progression is based on readiness — not simply time enrolled.

PLAYERS GROW DIFFERENTLY
Time in a level varies based on age, consistency, confidence, experience, and readiness.
.png)
MORE TIME IS NOT FALLING BEHIND
Extra time on a team helps build skills, friendships, confidence, and love of the game.
.png)
THE GOAL IS LONG-TERM GROWTH
We're not rushing players to the next team — we're helping them feel successful and stay in the game for life.
The goal isn't the next team. It's a lifetime in the game.
More frequent play and additional tennis experiences may change the pace of development — and that's okay. There is room for different journeys at Team RCW.

THE TEAM RCW EXPERIENCE
Your child should feel known —
and you should feel informed.
Great coaching is about more than what happens with a racquet. We want every player to feel welcomed, challenged, encouraged, and supported — while parents understand how their child is growing and what comes next.
Known & Supported
Coaches greet players by name, notice effort and improvement, and work to make every child feel like an important part of the team.
Clear Communication
Families receive guidance about progress, placement, goals, and next steps — with coaches available when questions come up.
Growing the Person
Every practice reinforces character, confidence, teamwork, and the six core values — not just tennis technique.
“This has been such a great experience for our 11 year old. He's doing the New to Tennis group class, and has been welcomed with open arms, friendly instructors, and has learned so much in just a few short weeks. Everyone whom I have interacted with at RCW has been so friendly, so kind. For parents they do a great job in communicating.”
