Yana Dhamija

Welcome Coach Yana Dhamija to RCW!

Originally from Delhi, India, Yana brings an impressive international playing background to our courts. She played competitive junior tennis for 15 years, earning the #1 ranking in India across all junior categories and reaching a career-high ranking of #7 in Asia. Yana also proudly represented India in multiple world junior tournaments, competing against top players from around the globe.

Yana continued her tennis career in the United States at Alabama A&M University, where she played Division I tennis. During her collegiate career, she competed at the top of the lineup, playing No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles, showcasing both her leadership and versatility on court.

Her coaching journey includes time as a summer coach at the prestigious John Newcombe Tennis Academy, where she worked with developing players in a high-performance training environment.

Yana is especially excited to begin this next chapter at RCW for the opportunity to transition from being a player to a coach and learn from our tennis-loving team.
