Luisa Zirilli

We are thrilled to welcome Luisa Zirilli to our RCW Tennis Professional Coaching Staff, bringing her wealth of playing and coaching experience to our team. Born and raised in Italy, Luisa developed her passion for tennis at a young age. At 18, she moved to the United States, where she became a standout player for the Middle Tennessee State University Women’s Tennis Team, achieving 62 career singles victories—ranking her 11th in the program's history.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Luisa seamlessly transitioned from player to coach. Her dedication to both tennis and academics led her to serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach while earning a Master’s Degree in Sports Management, followed by a PhD in Health and Human Performance. During her coaching tenure, Luisa played a key role in the Blue Raiders’ notable successes, including their first Power-5 win since 2016 and an undefeated home season in 2023.

Luisa is passionate about coaching and is excited to bring her expertise to the Lancaster Tennis Community here at RCW.

In addition to her coaching role, Luisa now serves as RCW’s Adult Tennis Director. In this leadership position, she ensures our adult players feel well informed about programs and opportunities, helps connect players with the right clinics and teams, develops new offerings based on demand, and continues to grow our USTA team presence. Luisa is deeply committed to building a strong, welcoming, and competitive culture surrounding our adult tennis community.
