Joey's Pro Background

Joey Link grew up immersed in professional tennis, traveling worldwide with his father, a tour coach. Surrounded by top-level players and coaches, he developed a deep passion for tennis at every level.

By age 10, Joey began training and competing in tournaments, eventually competing across the U.S. and internationally. At 14, he trained with Sebastian Korda and his father, Petr Korda, which helped shape his junior career. He reached the top junior ranks in Germany, consistently competing at a high level.

Throughout his career, Joey faced notable players such as Reilly Opelka, Tommy Paul, and Stefanos Tsitsipas. At 16, he began competing in men’s professional tournaments, with guidance from Eric Prodon, a former ATP Top 100 player. This experience opened doors to sparring with elite players like Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Nick Kyrgios at ATP tournaments.

After years of competing, Joey found his calling in coaching. In 2018, he co-founded a tennis academy in Frankfurt, Germany, managing three clubs with over 400 students. His work there honed his leadership and teaching skills across all ages and levels. He later worked at Tennis Club Bad Homburg, a prestigious club in Europe, coaching both juniors and adults.

In 2024, Joey joined RCW Athletic Club, eager to bring his expertise and enthusiasm to a new chapter alongside the team at RCW!
